Alaina M. Plowdrey Forehand is a Michigan native living and working in Florida. Her artwork centers on unconscious psychological stimulus considering the beholder's share pertaining to the figure, color, and composition.
Her Ph.D. dissertation applies a blend of neuroscience and phenomenology establishing her contribution of the "New Figure" considering contemporary figurative painting in relation to color perception and identity.
